Complete Project Proposal Submitted
On November 14, 2025, an application with a Complete Project Proposal entitled "Włocławek – The City of Good Vibes for the Economy, Environment, and Comfortable Living" was submitted to the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, as part of the second stage of the call for proposals under the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Program.
This project consists of six activities that implement the strategic and operational assumptions of the Włocławek 2030+ City Development Strategy in the areas of economy, environmental protection, safety, and health. The project aims to improve the quality of life of residents, leading to the economic development of the city of Włocławek through: increased professional activity and entrepreneurship, improved air quality and adaptation to climate change, and improved health and safety.
The project includes:
Reconstruction of the school dormitory building at 1 Mechaników Street,
Expanding and adapting the range of vocational qualification courses to the needs of the local labor market,
Construction of a road extending Bulwary im. Marshal Józef Piłsudski Street from Ogniowa Street to Barska Street,
Support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Włocławek through training and consulting,
Entrepreneurship classes in schools,
From volunteering to full-time employment – developing social and professional skills through volunteering,
Construction of Południa Park,
Renovation of the Grzywno Park area,
Public green space management system for the city of Włocławek,
Workshops for residents – Włocławek as a biodiverse city,
Włocławek City Bike – WŁOWER,
Development of documentation for the reconstruction and expansion of the existing Transfer Center in Włocławek into a multimodal transfer hub,
Delivery of a CT scanner with equipment for the Transfer Center,
Integrated monitoring, threat forecasting, and environmental warning system.
Additionally, the project plans bilateral activities and activities related to improving employee competencies.
